『Oct8（オクトエイト）』は、プレイヤーが「タコ創造の主」となり、退屈した神々のための遊びとして最高のタコを創り出すことを目指すカードゲームです。

ルールはシンプル。場に並んだ赤・青・緑の「タコの頭」カードに、手札や山札から「足カード」を付けていくだけ。ただし、タコを完成させるには、足カードに書かれた「ランク（本数）」の合計を、過不足なく「８」本ぴったりにしなければなりません！

しかし、このゲームの真の戦略は「足の交換」にあります。ゲームの鍵を握る「タコ・アクション」では、なんと他のプレイヤーが苦労して完成させたタコの足と、自分のタコの足を交換できてしまうのです！唯一の条件は、交換に出す足カードと、奪いたい足カードの「ランク（本数）」が同じであること。例えば、相手の「ランク7」の足を奪うために、自分の「ランク3」と「ランク4」のカードを組み合わせて差し出す…といった狡猾なプレイが可能です。

得点は、タコの頭と足の色を揃えることでアップ。さらに、ゲーム開始時に決めた自分の「支配色」のタコを完成させれば、得点は2倍に！

The whimsical game of the gods begins now! Create the ultimate octopus and claim the title of “Lord of Octo”!

『Oct8』is a card game where players become “Octopus Creators,” aiming to craft the finest octopus as entertainment for bored gods.

The rules are simple. Just attach “Leg Cards” from your hand or deck to the red, blue, and green “Octopus Head” cards laid out on the table. However, to complete an octopus, the total “Rank (number)” written on the Leg Cards must be exactly 8—no more, no less!

But the true strategy lies in “Leg Swapping.” During the game-changing “Octopus Action,” you can swap one of your legs with a leg from another player’s carefully crafted octopus! The only condition is that the “rank (number)” of the leg card you offer to trade must match the rank of the leg card you want to take. For example, you can make a cunning play like combining your own “Rank 3” and “Rank 4” cards to offer in exchange for an opponent’s “Rank 7” leg.

Score increases by matching the colors of the octopus’s head and legs. Furthermore, completing an octopus in your chosen “dominant color” from the start doubles your points!
